Pick your team and join us for Souper Bowl Saturday on Saturday, November 21, 2026, from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm in Fellowship Hall and outside at Herbert Memorial UMC, 84 Forest Avenue, Georgetown. The church and the community are invited!

Soups (with toppings), sandwiches, chips, salads, desserts, tea, lemonade, and water.
Activities
Cornhole, Giant Jenga, a Cake Walk, and making Thanksgiving cards for shut-ins.
Serve
The food collection
Souper Bowl Saturday celebrates our food collection for our covenant partner, Helping Hands of Georgetown County. The collection runs Sunday, October 4, through Saturday, November 21, and everything we collect, Thanksgiving items included, goes to Helping Hands. Any pantry food counts. Year-round staples and Thanksgiving items are both welcome.
Drop your food at the team tables in the church hallway: CCU, USC, or Clemson. You can also leave a bag labeled with your team at the church office door.
Year-round needs
rice, dried beans, canned meats, canned fruits, canned vegetables, boxed macaroni and cheese, canned soup, peanut butter, jelly, grits, oatmeal, pasta, spaghetti sauce.
Thanksgiving needs
gravy, pie filling, vegetables (about 15 oz), pie crust, yams (15 oz), stuffing/dressing, cornbread, rice (1 lb bags), cranberry sauce.
These help 250 families have a warm Thanksgiving meal.
